Trailing Whitespace When Copying Email Adress When Adding Users

If adding a user, and "copying" the users email account - if the copy process includes a trailing whitespace (such as a space) a alert for invalid user is prompted to the user.

Could there be features implemented in backend to handle trailing whitespaces?
